Birdwatching males have a lot in common with their feathered friends.

A new study shows that male twitchers regard birding as a competitive experience while females see their hobby as more of an opportunity for “personal enrichment”.

“The Gendered Nature of Birdwatching”, was published this month in the journal Human Dimensions of Wildlife.
